Beautiful 1984 C&C 35MKIII. Upgrades including in-mast furling main, updated windlass, canvas and cushions. Low hours, Clean and Never Raced!
Very nice example of the ultimate racer/cruiser of her day. Lightly used, two-owner 1984 C&C 35MKIII. This boat is reported by the owner to have been stored indoors for her first 35 years and used very lightly in the Summer months - mainly to keep a mooring at a local landmark yacht club.
This boat shows pride of ownership with overall nice condition and wise upgrades. The decks are virtually free of stress cracks and the boat is reported by the owner to have not been raced to any notable degree.
The boat features an in-mast furling main with all lines leading to the cockpit, a furling 150 headsail, self-tailing winches and a Lewmar windlass added in 2021 to assist in anchoring duties. A joy to sail, she is designed to be handled easily with a short handed crew but can also perform quite well with a crew for club racing if desired.
The current owners have added a long list of upgrades to build on this great platform. Recent fire extinguishers, the aforementioned Lewmar windlass, 3 batteries, shore power cords, and a Garmin 943XSV were among the gear added.
Updated cockpit dodger and matching binnacle cover, updated interior cabin and V-berth cushions were among the cosmetic upgrades. Recently a new Rocna 15KG anchor with new chain and rode and new water lines, new soft exhaust lines and new engine insulation were added. Refer to the Recent Maintenance section below for a complete list of 2021 upgrades.
Below features a classic interior design with comfort and practical features. A forward vee is followed by a fully enclosed head with shower. There is a large convertible dinette to port with a settee opposite. A full galley with icebox, sink and oven is aft to port. Aft to starboard is a nav station with drawers and a quarter berth.
