This 2006 Albemarle 268 Express is the perfect balance of performance and function. Albemarle has made a great, smooth riding boat in this model.
The boat is in excellent shape. Volvo Penta 8.1L engine, factory bow thruster, Lowrance 12\" gen 3 with side-scanning 1 kW transducer, and much more! Seller estimates 264 hours on the motor.
The Volvo Penta 8.1 has been upgraded with stainless risers and new manifolds. Cost $4200. You should never need to replace the risers again and this stops any potential valve overlapping problems.
The upholstery and coaming pads in the cockpit have all been updated. This vessel also features a battery charger, live well, 200-gallon fuel capacity, and will get 2 mpg at 30 knots, you will not find a better riding 26' boat. She only requires a 34\" draft, so you can take her in shallower water than you would think.
This model is 25'10\" without the bow pulpit, and 28' with the pulpit. She has an 8'6\" beam, so you'll find her to be roomy and comfortable, all in a trailerable boat.
2008 15k 3 axle tidewater with electric over hydraulic brakes. Rotor and calipers were just replaced on 2 axles.
